A stranger walked past and stopped. The line that holds me is "half of them were only there because somebody was listening", because the empty room answers it, and the wants that stayed are short. The cover is your face and the track is your voice, so "worth listening to, not just worth looking at" gets tested right on the page. Nobody asked, and I'm glad you said it anyway.
